Hi It has to be indirect not directly onto the child and apart from that you should keep your child into sun for about 30 to 40 minutes approximately but make sure that your child is having good sunrise on to them but they are indirect not direct otherwise it can turn the complexion dark also Sun rays it straight can be quite a colour changer
