Q.

#AskTheExpert good morning mam my baby girl is now just turned 2 year old....she is swallow everything ....if she is eating something by herself she is chewing but..when i give her any...food like rice dal vegetables & roti & milk ...i have to grind it she is not chewing she just swallo everything... because if i mashed some food if some rough part went to her mouth she just vomited ....so is it normal to give her grinded foods please suggest me mamπŸ™

A. chewing mixes the food with saliva and turns it into a Bolus where 80% of Carbohydrates are digested so if you're giving already grinded food proper digestion is not possible and baby will face constipation issues
