Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam e inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy1 Year agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. Please give indirect steam to the baby. Also massage baby chest with lukewarm BabyHug mustard oil. You can alao rub kids Vaporub on kids clothes near chest area. Keep the baby warm at all times.
