What we add into steam for cold

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which shotuld be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribhed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

U Can add any medicine to it like carvol Or something which is going to have that particular aroma and smell you can also use a sensual oils into it if you want to because that flavour that aroma is going to help quite a lot when you giving steam to the child
