Q.

What to do when baby is not taking a breath while crying? I mean sometimes if baby gets hurt due to some reason then he starts crying very loudly because of pain & he doesn’t take a breath in between… So what to do in such situation ?

A. that is know as breath holding spell. it is very common before 6 months of age. it usually decreases with increasing age of the child but if the duration of breath holding is more than iron supplements needs to be started which will be suggested by your doctor whether it is needed by the child or not
