What are the common symptoms of Viral Fever in babies? My baby had fever for 3days and she was on calpol for every six hrs. I'm not sure if it was viral? pls suggest any steps to be taken immediately

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it is the viral symptoms as you mentioned. Sneezing and cough is common in this changing wheather . So steam is a good that can be given to babies for 2 to 3 times in a day at home only . For severe cough asthakind LS and montair like medication can be given .

If The viral fever then you’ll always see that the fever is just going up and up and also the fever does not subside in three days it goes for about 5 to 6 days if it is viral fever so if your child is fever has already subsided then it is not even viral fever it could be just a seasonal fever
