suffering from fever with cold . kindly prescribed good medicine.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if anty fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the tejkmperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

if you are asking for your child then first measure the temperature,if it is 100f or above, please visit your pediatrician.
offer plenty of breastfeeds.
rub onion slices on chest and back of your child Which definitely help to cure both.
