Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage bsy clearing the mucus
try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of cough and cold in small children.can give indirect steam inhalation .
anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be gisven only after medical consultation.
for fever and pain give paracetamol
continue the regular diet which is being given to the child

apply warm mustard oil on baby chest back feet and gently massage at bed time
give steam inhalation
use nasoclear saline nasal drops
