A. Dear parent, post pregnancy belly fat reduction requires overall weight and fat loss. Eat mindfully, avoid high calorie foods, processed and packaged foods. Have a balanced diet having variety of food groups. Seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. Have lean proteins like eggs, beans, pulses, low fat milk and milk products. Have healthy fats from almonds, flaxseed. Have small, frequent meals and adequate fluid intake. Exercise every day for 45 to 60 minutes and have an active lifestyle. Exercises like abdominal crunches, pelvic tilts help in toning the stomach muscles.
