Q.

my two year old baby has frequent hives/ urticaria in body, it comes and go away after applied antihistamines. Dr prescribed Atarax100ml syrup (4ml/ night), She also suffer from common cold and caugh, so dr gives her fexy suspension. Her wbc is 10900, for that dr gives her cepodem 100. My question is that why her hives till come? I have already given her atarax fro last four days.

A. some types of allergic Rash can continue for one or two weeks also and sometimes it can continue for a month also. so just continue the anti allergic medicines and follow your doctors advice and do not give any type of medicine which might aggravate the condition
