My son is 2years 6months old, he is having loose motions from last 6 days. Nd he is doing motions 6-7 times in a day. I hv consulted doc he said its diarrhea bt he hasn’t got any relief yet. Plz hlp me wt should i do, my sin has become very weak.

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where sygumptomatic trgeatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

If the child hasn’t got relief as of now then I will advise you to get a school test done for your child to have better clarity is there would be lot of issues associated with loose tools so at least you’ll come to know what is the correct reason and further medication can be suggested on that basis
