Q.

my son is 20 months old. He talks onky 3 words. But he understands everything and his growth and activities are normal. what is the cause of delay in speech? is it something to be worried about ?

A. hi your baby is 20 months old now language milestone delay is quite common and you need not worry.just encourage him to speak and use audio and video of rhymes and pictorial books for better understanding of language

A. he watches a little bit of rhymes on iPad ..say about 20 minutes a day. that's it..rest onky play and book reading. he doesn't watch TV much except advertisements. I shall wait another 3 to 4 months and see. he says mumma..bye.. that's it. but he shows actions what he wants to eat and his pillow and so many other things. he is active and well

A. Hello ma’am Are you giving too much of screen time to your child specifically mobile or a tab then that could be one reason other than that sometimes kids can have this issue where the vocal glands are not develop properly with age so in that case if you wish to you can go for a homoeopathic treatment as it really helps a lot otherwise you can consult a speech therapist as well
