#AskTheExpert HI doctor, My kid is 2.4 year old. She did not start to talk. She talks only few words and understands everything and active too. Thanks in advance.

A. now for late. speech delay can be due to many reasons and hence to know it needs a detailed examination ENT specialist visit to know any hearing impairment or any stimulus causes of poor speech in baby . Speech therapy is also of help .
