my son has been cold for 1 week and any suggestions

Cold can take about a week to 10 days and sometimes it can take about 15 days to 20 days depending upon the severity of the situation and the reason behind it because sometimes it’s a viral or an allergy then it can take a little longer time so just continue with the medicine suggested by the doctor
