Q.

My LO is 8 months now she was IUGR and birth weight was 2kg now she is 8 months and her weight is 5.5kg her weight is not increasing as per the ideal weight chart however her height HC and other milestones are on spot . She is on BF , top feed and also eats solids . Is it concerning or as long as milestones are achieved weight doesn’t become a parameter?

A. As long as they're meeting developmental milestones, are alert and active, and are feeding well, you likely don't need to worry. Consistent growth — not exponential growth — is the key to baby's well-being.
