My elder daughter frequently gets cold and coughs... doctors medicine effect only for a few days after the medicine is over....again she gets a cold and coughs...she also has red eyes.

That can only indicate that your child is having some kind of an allergy which is why your child is suffering with a similar problem every now and then try to get an allergy test done to figure out what kind of an allergy test and treatment would be suggested on that basis only
