My baby's Pediatrician Dr has given dextromethorphan hydrobromide and chlorpheniramine maleate and phenylephrine hydrochloride syrup (Asthakind -DX) to my 06 month old boy for cough and cold, is it safe (as I have heard or read on internet that hydrobromide and chlorpheniramine maleate and phenylephrine hydrochloride is not safe) I have already given this syrup to my baby from Last 5-6 days as per our Dr (pediatrician) . please advise that is it safe or not please help me.

A. please give medicines as per advice of the doctor only generally this medicine nal advisable for 6 months baby. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok
