Q.

My baby is more than 2 year old. She was on pacifier while sleeping. I have started removing pacifier while sleeping now. She wakes up middle of night and cries a lot. Is this ok or should I start some another method? She cries at her fullest and this is making me worry if it doesn’t affecting her mentally.

A. No, you don't have to remove your baby's pacifier after he or she is asleep. Even if the pacifier falls out while they are sleeping – which is quite common! – there is no need for you to reinsert it.
