Q.

my baby is completing his 6th month on 17 Nov. he doesn't like to have veg soup rice as I don't add salt to it... can a little bit of salt be added to enhance the taste?

A. Please don’t add salt to the food until the baby complete one year of age and instead you can add a little bit of pepper as that will give flavor to itWrite Your Answer Here

A. hi mam,one should wait atleast 6 months age to introduce semisolid food to a child. anyways ,as you have already introduced it ,I would suggest to offer different food items from different food groups like vegetables, fruit, pulses, etc better to avoid salt . and although if you want to add ,use it in very very small quantity.
