Q.

My baby is 9 day old preterm baby his total bilirubin is 14 and direct bilirubin is 1.7 . Why is direct bilirubin high?? Is it safe?? What should be done to lower it

A. for any jaundice issue. This needs to be seen and so hence would advise you to see a doctor in person who can advise about this so can be done accordingly about this issue and so helped about . .
