my baby is 5 months old...he's suffering from cold after giving syrup prescribed by doctor also not decrease.....can we give ayurvedic medicine kasturi pill for cold

Sheetal pearl CharanMom of a 3 yr 2 m old girl2 years agoA. hi. Firstly give lots of breastfeeding, wear weather appropriate clothes. Start Nebulization. Take Budecort 0.5ml + 2ml Normal saline. Nebulize every 2-3 hours. If the baby cries no worries it's even better as Baby suck more air when crying just keep the mouth piece near baby's nose and mouth. Also use Nasoclear (0.65% Normal saline) nasal drops to open any blocked nostrils.

No don't give ayurvedic medicine if not prescribed by the doctor.
Cold and cough can take around 3-9 days to subside. so no need to worry.
continue with the medicine prescribed by the doctor. also apply babyhug rapid relief roll on or vicks babyrub on the chest and feet sole to get relief from cough and cold
