A. as the baby is 5days old ors is not required. Breastfeeding/formula milk is enough. If sunlight is available put the baby in morning sunlight with body undressed . Give the syrups suggested by your doctor nothing to worry.Dont bath the baby until doctor suggests

A. Hi dear, baby is too small to give ORS. Please consult the pediatrician. If required baby will be given photo therapy. Also, keep the baby under sunlight every morning. Give vitamin D drops which the doctors must have already prescribed. Hope the baby is breastfeeding? If not, you can take help regarding formula milk too. My baby was in NICU for 17 days and he was on mixed feed. He was given Aptamil Gold stage 1. It's closest to breast milk as it contains prebiotics and HMOs. Take care Hope the baby gets well soon.

A. you have to give only breastfeeding for loose motion and nothing else and the loose motion is due to the photo therapy which is being given to the child so just give breastfeeding for every episode of loose motion
