my baby is 1year 7months old, he is suffering from cold how much ml of maxtra can I use?

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 1.7 years old and if she is having a cold then you can give her steam inhalation and syrup maxtra 3.5 ml three times a day

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/v sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
