My baby is 17 months old and he cannot talk but understand everything and hear everything. when will he able to talk

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. the child will be able to say meaningful words by 15 months to 18 months of age and by 2 years of age the child will be able to say 2 or 3 words with meaning in a sentence.
sometimes the child may not be able to talk but the child would be able to understand and followd the commands and orders given by the parents.
if you feel that the child is having some delay it is advisable to meet the pediatrician who will decide if the child requires any therapy or not in the form of speech therapy as dwell as other modes of therapy for development in social and language milestone.

It’s a good sign that your child is understanding and responding to everything nowadays is the matter of time the more you communicate with your child the child is going to pick up better with time and just you can also introduce some education stuff to the child like both flashcards and play with those toys I think that is going to be much helpful and avoid any kind of time
