Q.

My baby girl is 11 months 7days old. Till now she has not got her theeth. what may be the reason ?

A. Hi some kids show delay in getting their first milk teeth and it's normal condition so don't worry. teeth may erupt upto the age of 15-18 months. keep checking for the signs of teething such as excessive drooling, swollen gums and irritation.

Timing isn't that important, however, if your baby still has no teeth by the age of 18 months, it may be time to see a pediatric dentist for an evaluation. If your teething baby seems uncomfortable, consider these simple tips: Rub your baby's gums. Use a clean finger or wet gauze to rub your baby's gums. ... Keep it cool. A cold spoon or chilled — not frozen — teething ring can be soothing on a baby's gums. ... Try an over-the-counter remedy.
