Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. for proper weight gain of the baby, you need to give a proper balanced diet that meets nutritional requirement according to the age for normal growth.you can add dairy products like curd cheese butter and mix into the food items as well as give all homemade preparations.. apart from this you should give all seasonal fruits and vegetables introduced in discrete flavours to develop interest of the baby.
it is very important to make the the feeding a gaming activity rather than forcing the child to eat.
you should avoid any kind of junk food in between meals and do not give lot of milk too,so that the baby should feel hungry for proper meals.
you should also give protein rich diet preferably egg and paneer etc. in the milk you can mix any good health supplement powder like kids Pro or nangrow if the baby is above 2yrs of age or dry fruits powder if possible.
you can get your child examined by pediatrician once to rule out any other possibility thn.uat will affect the growth and diet of the baby.

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 8 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Involve your child in family meals to encourage healthy eating by looking at family members. Include all food groups in your child’s diet that is staple in your family. If loss of appetite continues further then consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice on vitamin deficiency. Good luck and take care.
