Q.

#asktheexperts my 9 year year old son had fever for 6 days after the antibiotics course was over he got cleared.. but in 3 days his fever again came back but was 100 through out .his body temperature keeps on fluctuating.. then with paracetamol after a gap of two days it came again.. but without any cold or cough.. what is happening

A. Hello my dear parent! Maybe your child is under viral infection. Better to check with your paediatrician once before, giving so many medication yourself. Clarify your concerns and complete the course of treatment only as advised by the doctor. Good luck and take care.

Q. hello, I am arpeeta. my baby boy is 5 year 3 months old. he had fever on last October, the fever subsided after taking antibiotics. again, he had fever on November, the fever automatically subsided after 3 days without any antibiotics. again, he had fever on January 2022,which again subsided automatically after 3 days without the help of antibiotics. he got fever again in march just 3 days back, and the fever again subsided after 3 days and he didn't need any antibiotics. I just want to know that, is it normal for a 5 year kid to have fever in a gap of 1 month to 1.5 months??? Is there something to worry about?
