A. shivering in newborn can be due to startle reflex and less likely due to calcium deficiency. kindly continue to give breastfeeding to the child and take a video of the shivering and meet your doctor who will tell you whether it is normal startle reflex or it is due to hypocalcemia.

A. Jitters or trembling of the arms and legs during crying is normal in newborns. It should stop by 1 to 2 months of age. If your baby is jittery when not crying, it could be abnormal. Give her something to suck on.
