Q.

My 55 days old baby girl has skin mottling..can we cure it or is it permanent?

A. this occurs usually due to cold the child might be feeling and the reaction of mottling is due to the cold. it is important to cover the child well when the temperature in the room is cold or there is windy atmosphere

A. Mottling is not uncommon in premature or ill babies in the neonatal intensive care unit. In other babies, it could be due to a congenital heart problem, poor blood circulation, or an infection. Tell your baby's healthcare provider right away if you notice mottling.
