Q.

my 5 month old boy watches his hands and fingers often. when i googled it shows as signs of autism... is it true? or its just a normal development activity even for a neurotypical child.... any mothers out there whose child did the same and they are not autistic....

A. Hello my dear parent! My son used to do the same, but he is not autistic at that. I’m just the doctor told me that it is a way of exploring and experiences, body, parts, changes, et cetera. You can check with your doctor in this matter if you’re still concerned.
