Q.

My 3 years 3 months old son started speaking at 1 years but slowly he stopped speaking. He speaks one two, ABCD. But he does not communicate like he does not tell for toilet and potty. Even for water he earlier used to say "pi". But now he holds hand takes to glass for water. What should I do to make him communicate.

A. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . child can start saying simple sentences by two years of tr age . just make the child comfortavble and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly. if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

A. Then It could be little bit of delay it to the speech of your child what is to be more sure about it I would advise you to consult your child psychologist wants to analyse the behaviour of the child at that if required you can go for a speech therapist as well
