Q.
My 2y 7m old bby is having extremely itchy anus during night time. She has a habit of eating soil n mud. Does she have worms in intestine?What should we do..? we tried all oral remedies .. like applying creams.. powders n ghee etc at anal opening. plz help.

ExpertRamya RamachandranNutritionist4 years agoA. Dear ma’am, these remedies won’t work. Eating non edible foods could be a sign of PICA which can be due to low levels of iron. Please talk to your doctor regarding this and also deworming
