Q.

My 1 year 3 m old boy weight is 9.3kg it has not increase after his 1st birthday but he eats well and very active run all the time can you advise how to increase his weight pls

A. it is important for you to know that the weight of the child depends upon the genetic patterns and by that pattern only the weight gain in child is seen. it also depends upon the diet the child is taking. so it is advisable that you should meet the doctor who will tell you whether there is anything to worry or not and whether the child requires any health supplements. the child should be given xdifferent flavours and recipes made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily in small amount. you can add ghee groundnuts dryfruits in the diet and this will help in improving the weight of the child. you can gxo through many recipes for children in different flavour and taste for your child on firstcry

A. hello if the baby is active then weight is not a problem and make sure to give your child healthty food and a nutritious well balanced food in the diet and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better
