Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptomsgf.. .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

U Then give a medicine to the child any antiallergic is going to be gay good for the child you can go ahead with that and along with that you can give steam to the child indirectly twice a day and please consult your paediatrician for a proper course of medication
