Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a grhome remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicinefs like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

In such case you should definitely consult the doctor about it otherwise you can give indirect steam with warm water twice a day. Try to keep your baby in normal room temperature and don’t change the temperature of surroundings frequently.
