for promoting proper weight gain of the baby, you need to give a proper balanced diet that meets nutritional requirement according to the age for normal growth.you can add dairy products like curd, cheese or butter and mix into the food items as well as give all homemade preparations.. apart from this you should give all seasonal fruits and vegetables introduced in different flavours to develop interest of the baby.
 it is very important to make the the feeding a gaming activity rather than forcing the child to eat.
