Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear It can be inserted anytime up until 48 hours after birth, or 4-6 weeks after birth. It is possible to insert immediately after the birth of your placenta while you are in your labour and delivery room, if you have good pain relief already. It can be done after a vaginal or caesarean birth.
