I gave no cold syrup 1 ml 3 times in a day to my 11 months baby but there is no use she is suffering a lot wit cold plz help

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illnkless there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

A. U Please consult your doctor go for a proper course of medication your child is too small as of now you can put nasal drops for easy breathing and indirect steam also you can give to the child but it would be important to consult your doctor before you start with any medicine
