I am suffering with cold and dry cough doctor gave me tuscold my son is 2 months old I am breastfeeding so is it safe

A. No,this will not safe for my son. This can be harmful for my son because of mother feeding

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of coufgh. if feverr is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

A. Hello dear parent! Check with your doctor for the same as few medications are not suitable while breastfeeding. Eat a well balanced healthy diet and keep yourself hydrated all through the day while breastfeeding your baby. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil.
