Q.
I am having cold.. can I breastfeed my baby? Also, my baby is having loose motions since yesterday night.. is it because of my cold as I took Wikoryl medicine for the same. pls suggest

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. yes u can Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fevger than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. uh deit is quite natural small babies will be passing loose motions no need to worry about them as long as the baby is on mother's milk that chances of infection will not be there
