A. Zyrcold syrup contains antihistamines and decongestants commonly used for colds, but its dosage should be strictly based on a doctor’s recommendation, especially for a 3-year-old child. For a 3-year-old (13 kg) child, the typical dosage of Zyrcold syrup (if prescribed by a doctor) is 2.5 ml twice a day. However, thrice a day might be excessive, especially for a long duration like 2 months. Since your child has had cold and cough for 2 months, it’s essential to: ✔ Consult a pediatrician to rule out allergies, asthma, or infections. ✔ Try steam inhalation & honey (if above 1 year old) for relief. ✔ Ensure proper hydration & diet to boost immunity. If symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks, a doctor visit is necessary for proper evaluation. Avoid self-medicating frequently. Let me know if you need home remedies for relief!
