Q.

Hi, Suddenly my son is suffering from fever with high temperature -102. We don’t see any covid symptoms in our family. All are doing good. Is the symptom of corona?

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose cand be agairn repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required

A. at home ,rub onion slices on chest , back and sole of your child.

A. hi not necessary to have this. please don't assume. don't self judge your child ,it could be common viral or bacterial Infection too. so , please don't get panic. give luke warm water to drink keep your child well hydrated measure the temperature repeatatively using digital thermometer I would suggest to use Babyhug thermometer if temperature remains 100f or above please visit your pediatrician.
