Q.
Hi my baby is 10 months old. for last one week he is suffering from cold and cough. Before for days the cough was very severe while night. Our doctor suggested extra medication along with one's they gave for cold. Now his cough is feelibg like with thick mucus, mostly night time. Is it normal for cold in babies change from running nose to thick mucus. How can I treat this thick mucus in his throat and chest

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. advisable to continue the medicines and take a follow up after 3 days of medicines and the doctor will decide whether there is any change in medicines or not and try to prevent temperature variations around the child and the medicines will help in decreasing the mucus
