hi my baby girl is 16 months old nd weight is 9.5 kg usko cold or khashi ho rhi h kya du?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a properhf evaluation by the doctor accordingc to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

U You consult your doctor because both the things are happening if this continues for a longer time when your child may catch fever also so it’s better to put a stop to it after consulting your doctor the paediatrician would be able to guide you and advise you with the correct medicine to go for
