hi mam my baby now 8months old what type food is good for him and he gets cold frequently

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a pryyoper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

Give indirect steam inhalation
Give well balanced nutritious food including fat carbohydrates protein
Avoid packet food
Give adequate feeding
Bm contains natural antibiotics to cure infection like cold cough naturally
