Hi Dr|| why my 2yr 6 months old daughter still she is not talking just she says 20 words but she recognises everything is this ok ? or shall I consult speech pathologist ?

SravaniMom of a 6 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. No worries dear,give them own space,they will speak slowly ,but she identifying right its a good move so don't think too much, continue with your child wat she likes

mam,as all babies are different and they grow at their own pace ,it is ok.
please don't compare your child with others.
just keep talking with your child more
play different games, sing rhymes and read stories with your child it will help to enrich your child vocabulary.
avoid to allow watching TV mobile or any other gadgets at this tender age.
