Hi !Dr My son is of 41 days old and he is suffering from cold and cannot able to breathe properly and I gave him solvin cold syrup but he doesn't get relieved so please can u suggest me some other cold syrups.

A. if the baby is only 41 days old and if the baby is having some cold or difficulty in breathing it is advised not to ignore and to not give any medicine by yourself consult your doctor first

A. Hello dear parent, you can give steam to your baby for few minutes and several times in a day. As steam actually helps in opening up nasal passages and clears the Congestion. Also for any new medicine, you should consult with your paediatric in person.
