Q.

Hi Dr..my baby z 5 months old now and eruption of upper central incisors r started.loose motion z started. what shd i gv him to avoid loose motion? and 4 pain what should i gv so dat pain get relief? pls prescribe any pain reliev syrup or any other solution to get rid from loose motion

A. maybe just 5 months and teeth eruption signs can be drooling of saliva swelling in gums and even irritable cranky baby . to ease the pain can give a teether wooden or any pacifier available in market . Massage gums will help. give vit d 3 drops 1ml 400 I U or 0.5 ml of 800 I U each day till 1 year of age for strong bones and teeth

A. reduce the pain I would recommend that you should try to massage the gums of the child and apart from that it is advisable to give your baby ORS in order to make sure the baby does not get dehydrated
