Hi Doctor, My baby is 27 days old.. I saw some tiny browinsh mucus like thing in her nose today. she doesn't have running nose or blocked nose.. feeding is normal like regular . I checked her body temperature which is also normal. Could this be symptom of cold or mucus like thing at times appear in nose even without having cold?

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician5 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is newborn just 27 days old and she is having some brownish mucous in her nose so mostly it is due to minor injuries and tiny bleeding

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children5 years agoA. the baby is less than 1 month of age if baby doesn't have any called sometimes it can be only nasal secretions getting crust if you are having any problem better consult a doctor
