Q.

Hi, Akshat is a 4 year old boy. His height is 86 cm and weight approx 12 kg. As per our pediatrician this height is less and we follow up with pediatric endocrine doctor also. Hello suggest that we should go with Growth hormone test and start the treatment. which is a growth hormone injection on daily basis till the age of 15. Should we go with this or another option to increase the height? please someone advice us or any doctor can help us.

A. Is too small I don’t recommend you to get hormonal therapy or injections done for your child take second or third opinion it is not healthy for you to get hormones injections from such a small age I do understand the height is less but it just look for other alternative which will help in increasing the height of the child like a lot of physical exercise put your child into swimming or sports after the age of five years complete for natural things that take second opinion please don’t go for hormonal therapy or injections
